Loren Johnson, PSS/LPI
Loren is responsible for the day-to-day operations of JPS Consulting International to include contract operations, strategic planning, client relations, transitions and emergency responses. As a domestic security subject matter expert, Loren also provides operational and financial expertise to business development for use in the design of winning strategies and proposal preparation to secure new federal, local and commercial business.
Prior to his current position, Loren served in the US Army as a military police protective agent and worked for 13 years, rising through the ranks to become a non-commissioned officer. After leaving military service, he worked as a Worldwide Protective Services, Personnel Security Specialist contractor for the US Department of State (DOS), later as Lead Security Officer for US Department of the Army.
Loren came to the private sector after a distinguished career in government service that spanned more than 20 years, beginning with the US Army and culminating as Lead Security Officer at a level II trauma center in Tacoma, Washington. While in the army Loren was selected for a prestigious assignment protecting the Commander of Stabilization Forces Bosnia where he supervised advance team operations and was an vital member of the close protection team. Called on again for his abilities Loren further honed his protective skills as a protection agent for high level commanders on the battlefields of Iraq. Loren's commitment and dedication to his mission saw him recruited from the military to work for one of the largest government security contractors today.
Loren holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Technical Management & Criminal Justice, a Master’s of Science in Criminal Justice & Advanced Counter-terrorism. He is a graduate of the US Army Military Police School; US Army Protective Services Course; ITI Advance Protective Services Course; MPRI Advance Protective Services and Marksmanship Course, Triple Canopy WPPS/WPS Training Course, Military Police Special Reactions Course, Department of the Army Guard Academy coupled with multiple other certifications.
